A PSP Report (Pre-Employment Screening Program Report) is a detailed record of a commercial driver’s safety performance. It is used by motor carriers to screen potential new hires and assess their driving history before making hiring decisions. The PSP report is provided by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and includes data sourced from the Motor Carrier Management Information System (MCMIS).

Reviewing your candidate’s driving records and public safety data is important for positions where employees, volunteers, or contractors will operate motor vehicles for business purposes. An MVR check provides insight into whether a candidate is a safe driver.
If you recently applied for your operating authority and have just been activated the licensing team will be mailing your certificate to you which could take 7 to 10 days.
If you need a copy right away we can have it faxed or emailed to you the same day you order it.
If you have been active in the system and have misplaced your certificate we can get another copy faxed or emailed to you immediately.
The new entrant safety program was put in place by the FMCSA to closely monitor new USDOT applicants to ensure that they are abiding by the federal laws & regulations, while keeping the public safe from those who are not.

FMCSA requires all entities under its jurisdiction to update their information every two years. This update is required even if your company has not changed information or ceased interstate operations, or is no longer in business & you didn’t notify FMCSA.

The FMCSA requires all Motor Carriers and brokers to have a processing agent on file to represent their company. This is required during the USDOT & MC Application process.
Form 2290, heavy vehicle use tax return is used t figure & pay taxes for the vehicle with the taxable gross weight of 55, 000 pounds or more.
If you are operating a CMV over 26,001lbs? Are you crossing state lines? You will need apportioned plates . We will complete your application and the client will be responsible for obtaining their plates and paying the base state for the cost of the plates. Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (form 2290) may also be required to get plated if you GVWR is over 55,000.
This service will assist you with completing your IRP Apportioned Plates renewal. There is a cost of $255 per vehicle.
A HUT certificate of registration is required for any CMV with a gross weight over 18,000 pounds.

New Mexico imposes a weight-distance tax on owners, operators, and registrants of intra and interstate commercial vehicles with a declared gross vehicle weight in excess of 26,000 pounds.
California requires that all commercial motor vehicles with a GVW of over 10,000 pounds obtain California Motor Vehicle Permit Number and display the number (known as a CA number) in permanent lettering on the vehicle.
Drivers who transport property, operate large commercial vehicles, transport hazardous materials, or operate vehicles requiring a commercial driver’s license need a motor carrier permit (MCP) as evidence they have registered their California Carrier Identification number (CA#) with DMV.

Identifying these incidents is crucial for fleet managers in enhancing road safety and ensuring FMCSA compliance.

An application for operating authority is Dismissed if the applicant fails to provide evidence of financial responsibility (proof of insurance) and a designation of process agent Form BOC-3 approximately 90 days from the date of filing of the application. (This fee includes the Fee paid to FMCSA)
